Early Life

Bashir Bawa Yabo was born in the year 1964 at Yabo town of Yabo Local Government area, He attended JNI Primary school Yabo from 1972 to 1978 and Government teachers college Chafe from 1978 to 1988 where the young Bashir obtained his teacher’s grade II Certificate.


He proceeded to Usmanu Danfodio University to pursue further education from 1989 to 1992 and he come out successful as BSC Political science holder.

National Youth Service Corps

As Mandated by the Federal government to all newly graduated, Bashir Bawa was posted to National Republican Convention (NRC) Headquarter for his National youth service after the dissolution of all political parties then he was reposted to Nigerian Immigration Services to complete his one year mandatory service.


After NYSC Malam Bashir returned to Teachers service Board and posted to Giginya Memorial College sokoto to continue with his teaching after some years he transfer and change cadre to Admin and general services department cabinet office Sokoto in 1995 from then he work with Department for local government affairs as assistant Director personal management from then he was promoted to Director Personal management DPM and posted to Home affairs and special duties, Ministry of information, youth, sports and culture all as DPM.


Bashir also work with Sokoto state house of Assembly, State urban and regional planning board, local Government service commission, ministry for rural development, land and Housing, Religious affairs as Director Administration position which he still occupying at state ministry of health to date.


Malam Bashir Attended so many workshops, seminars and programs related to administration and general services he also hold a prestigious certificate of advance course for Human Resources management.
